Gas milage after 3" lift and tires?
I'm looking at a 2000 SR5, I will be doing a 3" lift and looks like 265's (from what I get off the forums), wondering who has a similar set up and how bad your gas mileage was affected?

yeah I'm similar, 3 inch lift with 285/75s and I around 15mpg combined. Usually I am at around 200 miles, showing a quarter tank left when I fill up.

I used to get about 280 miles per tank with 265/75/16 nitto terra grapplers, Now with toyo open country 255/85/16 I am getting about 220 . Although now that I got a snorkle it seems that I would be getting A little bit of miles back. I am hoping to get about 260 per tank....I know now im dreaming but will see. Once I finish this tank I will post up the numbers.

You need to also calibrate the speedo to get accurate milage, althought no one on here does.

I believe it's impossible to CALIBRATE. you either need to install a box that adjuts it or just mutilly by the diffence in wheel size
I got 19mpg with 3" lift and 265 18 with 285 and 18 with 285 +3" body lift

Just lifting won't do much...it does increase your overall frontal area (exposed tire), which has more of an effect the faster you're traveling. Wider tires have more rolling resistance (friction) and are heavier, so will have more of an effect at all speeds.
Neither action will increase your fuel efficiency. But the lift will have the lesser effect.
