Shrockworks

I've just placed an order for a set of rock sliders from shrockworks. They are expected to be here in about 8 weeks. Anyone else have these? My wife has been complaining about a high step in height ever since i did my lift, so my hope is this will help a little bit, plus give me the off roading protection I want.

Yes I have them - do a quick search for "SHROCKWORKS" in the title and you'll see some photos I posted.

She'll be able to use them as a step, might want to put a little anti-slip black tape over that portion of the tube though.

I had them on my old Tacoma (RIP...) and they worked fairly well - didn't stick out much though. It was good, as I could jump in and not have to really stretch my legs over the sliders but bad as they were just shy of being comfortable to stand on. Not bad, could be better.

As mentioned, swing by your local skate shop and hit them up for grip tape. Best investment I made on those sliders... Definitely doing it again when the new ones arrive (All-Pro due to the kickout - another feature I wanted along with being a bit wider).
