Towing with a recovery strap
Any reason NOT to?

I understand why to not use a tow strap to recover a vehicle but I don't see why a recovery strap wouldn't work for towing..

It works, done it a few times (30 mi trip once...on the freeway, at 55 mph), nothing really wrong with it other than the risk of damaging your strap.
