more deceptions...after .. etc TSB EL010-90 the fuel gauge CALIBRATION

well from all the toyotas I ever wanted(CAUSE THEY ARE THE BEST FOR ME) the most was the 4runner, but it as been hard for me to bear all the fixings and tunnings i have to do to a used truck, maybe I didnt choose well and check the most important things, first differential leaking cause brake pads toget sticky and cause a few things not fixed yet the main prob, then left side sag, big tires touching the fender, strange sounds downside, now 2 floaters change in the fuel sending unit not fixed and after I do the CALIBRATE WITH TSB NO CHANGE AND STILL THE GAUGE IS STUCK IN THE MIDDLE TANK NOW 10 HOURS LATER (has nothing in common and are separate things) but ''abs'' light in the panel show today, then the power windows lock not working anymore the 4(not locked with that button you think) today almost arriving home check engine light comes out and is on.... so IM NOT SHURE NOW...I GUESS IM STILL BUY YOTA BUT GIVE ME YOUR OPINION PLEASE, ABOUT THE poblems I THINK ARE NOT RELATED WITH TSB EL010... anyone knows about why the power windows not working even with engine running?

I mean absolutely no disrespect. However, I am having a hard time reading what you have written and what your actual problem is that you want help to fix. Could you list the actual problem or problems a litlle more clearly.

panel lights turns on and remains after TSB calibration of the fuel gauge

first of all excuse my english not my born lenguaje, i was trying to fix some float fual gauge troubles cause gauge is stuck doesnt move and theres a method called tsb el 0.... etc but now ABS light comes in ans remained on, next day check engine light appear and is still there and power windows doesnt open and suddenly works then not... im just tried to tell that i was happy cause at last I have the 4runner i wanted, but it has had lots of problems from sagging rear and differential leakings etc just in 2 months of ownwrship. so I feel dissapointedor maybe exagerating everything but i feel i cannot repair nothing.even with technitians. maybe before buy i need to do a deeper checking, I never have problems with 6 toyota cars, now with truck (supposed to be more strong) im suffering... tnx for the interest

first try disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes to reset everything. also check your fuses to make sure nothing has blown. as for the fuel gauge, it might be time for a dealer to check it out. the 4runner is a great reliable truck but even bulletproof vests will still hurt when you get shot.

Jakov, were you doing the procedure that requires you to press the trip reset 3 times and hold the trip reset button in untill it buzzes etc? If yes, then I do not think that will cause the other troubles you are having. If you changed out the floats and the gauge is still stuck then I think the problem is in the cluster gauge, not the sender.
Also, since the check engine light has come on I would recomend getting the error code from the computer. This is vital to trouble shoot the problems. Try to get the code and we can help you more.

Sorry to hear the 4Runner is causing problems, you are very unlucky. The axle leak and sagging springs are very common, but easy to fix.

tnx for your time to give an advise... the problem that cause check engine and windows stuck was the battery touching the fender and caused the short, now the problems are worst i was running and opened door locks the rear windows open itself and tachometers shut down , blew some fuses that i changed but now when I TURN on the truck and then off take out the key the rear window open alone, even if I put the key and turn to right it doesnt roll up only click, now I NEED an electrical technician to check it up.. maybe murphys law or unlucky truck unlucky me ..
