Smile any experience with this lift kit from Burtman industries?

Burtman Industries

Hello all,
I am not sure if i had seen this posted here before, but i am curious about this lift. I dont know too much about them. I have a 3G and would like raise it up a tad.. Currently i am running a LT 265/75R16 on 16" wheel. as you can see there is nothing special going on here...

I think the picture is showing 285/70 R15 I kinda dig the way the 15" wheel looks.. on the larger tires..
would this be a good safe way to go? I hame not as gard core as some of you guys, buyt this might be a start..The Kit is not too expensive and being here in NY I can imagine what it will cost me to have it installed.

thanks.

this is a spacer lift - look around here for more info on different lift options - there is a current budding thread with all lift information sans specific shocks: 3rd Gen 4Runner Lift Information and FAQ's

leave your 16s alone. That idea is a non fulfilling money pit. Put that money into a better lift option - like coils rather than spacers.

PS
I suggest you call Burtman before placing an order to see if he even has them for delivery. He has things listed that arent even made anymore ;)

BIG,
Thanks for the reply.. I will call them to see if they have the item in stock. I hope that this is a not a "here today gone tomorow company" I have not given these people any money as of yet, so i have not lost anything.

I will check that link you gave me and see what going on.. I dont know much about lifting a truck and as matter of fact i was going to leave it. One of my buddies mentioned to me that if you wanted to fun bigger rubber.. raise it up a notch.

Thanks for the help !

Jason has been around a long time. He's very friendly and very helpful, but sometimes overpriced and out of stock ;)

15 inch rims would likely not clear your 16" designed brakes. Did not see that explicitly explained so just wanted to be sure you knew about this...

If your Runner originally had 15inch rims then fine, but if it had 16s originally then do not go down in diameter as stated above...

umm I see something special going on but not truck related per se.

Im sure you could get a lift kit and talk LINY4runner into helping you install it for like a 18 pack or something like that.
