12V Portable Air Compressor

Greetings, I'm looking for a recommendation to a portable air compressor to bring along on camping trips in case of a flat tire/s. I tend to frequent the volcanic mountains of the southern half of California (i.e. Panamints & Inyos)and as such the lava rock has a tendancy to be quite hard on tires--even good ones! Any info would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Richard

I have a jumper pack that doubles as an air compressor, its pretty nice to have and only takes a couple minutes to fill up a tire, it recharges via the car outlets.

X3. Been using one for over 3 years now, first with my Taco and now with my 4runner. Very reliable and fast.
