Topdown4R,
I'm from Albuquerque, NM, and I bought the truck locally from a private seller. It was bought at a local Toyota dealership and has lived here all it's life... I think NM and AZ are about the only places you'd see a vehicle with such a clean undercarriage though.
SkidPalace,
The exhaust sounds awesome...It grumbles like a V8 at low RPM's and get's nice and quiet above 2,000 rpm, where it's just slightly louder than stock. I was thinking of taking a video/sound clip so you guys could check it out.
Drinknmolson,
Will do. First up will be the valve body, soon after a SS 1.2, the URD stuff, and a heavy duty front bumper.
JohnsD90,
Out of all the things on this truck, that's all you could comment on? Yes, the previous owner told me the paint had some rock chips and intead of having it repainted they decided on rhino lining it, so thank you for telling me something I already know. I'm not sure if it's in my taste either, as I mentioned in my first post.
Everyone else, thanks for the kind words... look forward to seeing this thing around.

What kind of power do you think that is laying down with the supercharger and headers? I would think somewhere around 250 or so HP and 280 tq? Just curious.

I just did a quick search and the Toyota specs say something like:
3.4L Supercharger, 5VZFE
HP & TORQUE GAIN
• Peak to peak gain: + 64 HP (34%)
• Best gain: 75 HP @ 5,200 RPM (43%)
• Peak to peak gain: + 50 lb-ft torque (22%)
• Best gain: 77 lb-ft torque (43%)
So, using peak to peak numbers,
183 stock hp + 64 from the supercharger = 247hp @ the crank
217 stock torque + 50 from the supercharger = 267lbs. torque @ the crank
I figure the headers and exhaust might add another 10hp??? Maybe 15-20lbs of torque??? I'm not sure, I guess you'd have to do a before/after dyno run.
So if you take the 247 + 10= 257 then multiply by 0.8 for drivetrain loss, you'd get about 205 hp at the wheels right now more or less???
As far as torque, (267 + 15) x 0.8 = about 225 lb-ft at the wheels.
I know there are some 4-Runners that are tuned w/the URD add ons that lay down about 240hp/259lb-ft torque at the wheels...see this link>>> Project SportRunner

Really perks that motor up quite a bit. I've never driven the 3.4 but I would think with the supercharger it's night and day. That's a great link and that guy really put up some really nice numbers on his with a great build.
It could be pretty interesting if you had the opportunity to dyno yours now before you do that additional things you mentioned about doing and then again afterwards.

Looks like a sweet rig!
Can you snap a pic of where the TRD headers join to the cat-pipe? I have TRD's on my 02 and I had to weld a 4" extension into that cat-pipe (got the headers second hand w/o instructions - not that you can install them wrong)...

It should be a little bit less do too natural power loss from the engine after 9 years.

I was posting from my iPhone, i had to get the important part out, its a cool rig, and talking besides the bumper it is definetly desirable, as you have a fast 4runner with the good options, but it isnt my taste.

That's a good call waiting for a 4runner worthy of putting in all the money and time into. That thing is perfect, good find!

IMO you got a one owner vehicle with serious documentation and that counts for a LOT. The documentation being the big part.
I've driven in a TRD 4-Runner just like yours and it had more oomph. The key being that Toyota under engineered it and covered it under full factory warranty. So, it's not going to stress the engine beyond the safe point.
As far as the Rhino-Liner goes. Not my cup of tea but it's easy to fix if you want to. Any decent bumper shop can strip the bumpers down to bare metal. The fender flares - I doubt you'll ever get it off without destroying the flares in the process. Time to start scouring junk yards for flares if that is your decision.
I'd do the above and then have all the parts sprayed at the same time to get it back to stock appearance. Make sure you choose a quality shop that knows about flex agent for the soft parts. Spray them like you would metal and they will just peel.
I think you got a nice rig and you definitely got a good deal on it.
Have fun!

Yeah, I can do that. I can tell you right now there was some welding involved. I had the truck inspected by my mechanic before I purchased it and I noticed the weld when it was up on the rack. I asked the previous owner and he said they had to weld in a new high flow cat because the original cat/cat pipe wouldn't line up w/the TRD headers. The weld on mine is downstream from the flange where the headers bolt up to the cat pipe, right where it bends and the pipe begins to run horizontally.
Blitzkrieg,
I'm with you man. The fact that it was local, one owner, and had a detailed maintenance history was a major factor in the purchase decision. In fact, I would not purchase a supercharged 4-Runner without the maintenance history... there is too much that can go wrong without proper care/maintenance. Regarding the Rhino Liner... It's starting to grow on me a little bit. I'd still prefer it without, but it is unique. I'm going to focus on more important things (transmission, lift, wheels/tires, etc.) for now and decide on it down the road.

Nice truck! I wouldn't care about the Rhino Liner personally. It's like noticing a pimple on a naked supermodel!

Sweet ride...I have a simple question (maybe)what is the 7th injector used for the supercharger?

When you add the TRD supercharger to the 3.4L V6 it tends to run lean (too much air, not enough fuel), especially at higher RPM's. This is due to the fact that the stock fuel system can't supply enough fuel to keep up with the extra air being pumped into the engine by the supercharger.
When an engine runs lean, the combustion process results in higher temperatures within the cylinders, and in the exhaust. This increase in temperature heats the cylinder walls & pistons to the point that the fuel will sometimes ignite on it's own (due to the increased heat in the combustion chamber) before the piston hits top dead center. When this happens you have the expanding gasses that come with combustion trying to drive the piston downward while the crankshaft is moving it upward. The opposing forces result in an audible noise referred to as "ping". This is very bad for your engine.
The TRD 7th injector is a sort of band-aid to fix these problems. It alleviates the ping on most 4Runners by adding extra fuel to the mix so that the engine doesn't run quite as lean (therby dropping combustion temperatures, and reducing premature combustion). The 7th injector comes as a kit that also includes a cooler thermostat, which makes the engine run about 20 degrees cooler, again to try and alleviate combustion temperature issues due to running lean. Ideally you also need control of the injector so you can fine tune how much fuel it is putting into the system, for how long, and at what points in the rpm range. This is where URD and their piggyback systems come into play.
