Thoughts On: 10MM Rear Coil Spring Spacer

So I got the 891's ready to be put on and I thought...would it be ok to add the trim spacer for a bit more rear heighth? I'm one for a bit of a rake anyways. What are some of your thoughts on this? They aren't expensive and I'll be under there anyways. Also...do I have to use OME shocks like they say I do for the fronts? Or do the rears go on just the coils springs/differently? Not sure how that works because I've got Bilstein 5125's.

Thanks in advance!

Yes you can use the packers for some extra lift. Their designed specifically for correcting uneven lift side to side, but if your lift is even there's no reason you can't still use them.

Not sure on the travel specs for the Billies, so I would say check it out after the coils are in. Flex the suspension to it's max and inspect the shock to see if it has topped out or not. Obviously you would do this in a controled fashion so as not to dynamically load the shock and mess it up if it does indeed reach full extension.

Ok thanks for the heads up. I'll order them this weekend then and hope the shock flex is good. I figure it will be since a lot of others ride with the billies with LC coils but better double check.
