Want to Know How a Diff Works? Best Video Ever...
Ever wondered exactly how a diff works? This is by far the best explaination I've ever seen. I saw this a while back on YT somewhere and it happens to be from circa the 1930s. Very cool...

cool sweet vid, I never really tried to understand a diff before, just knew what it does... It didn't click in my head until they showed it with the actual metal gears.

That was a great explanation of how a differential works. Now you can see why it is so expensive to repair a rear end. Thanks for posting. Recommended video !!!

After watching this I wonder how hard it must have been to create an auto-LSD.

When i turn on my locking rear diff, the asb light turns on. is that supposed to happen?

yes it is, mine actually has been constantly stuck on for the last month or so, ever since I used my locker last lol.

Awesome find. I love it when people explain something by walking through the natural thought process. That was a really good demo they did.
