LC coil & Shock question
I have a pair of 8 wrap LC coils and have been searching for some shocks to go with them. I have been doing some research and come to the conclusion I want some rancho rs5000s. I just wanted to make sure im getting the right ones. So the rancho rs5000 part# rs5208 which is made to fit the rear of a 90-97 Land Cruiser, will fit the rear of my 98 4runner?
Heres a link to them

The Toyota LC OEM shocks for the rear of 3rd gen runners is part #48531-69417. they are the right length and have the right valving. I love them

Do these shocks need an adapter?

nope they bolt right up. sorry it took a month+ to reply the email updates have been pretty sporadic. If you ended up getting some rear shocks what are they and how happy are you with them?

I thought someone said those rear LC shocks were too long and would let the springs fall out. Do you know if they work on all OEM LC springs even the 7 wraps????

I'm using them on 8 wraps and I can't see any way even if you were totally twisted up and at full droop that a 7 wrap could fall out. Personally I love the. The are great coming off a rock or anything. The rear end just settles and isn't harsh at all. I will prob revalve my front kings to match at some point

I got some Monroe Gas-Magnum shocks new for $80 shipped from rockauto. They are for the rear of the fj80 series land cruisers. Length and valving are great and work awesome with the LC coil lift on our 3rg gens. Great product for the price

Slight thread-jack: Where does everyone get LC coils? I feel like I've never known where to get them.
