Yakima Bike rack on Rola Basket?

I want to get a Yakima King Cobra and a Rola Vortex with the extension

I've seen Reinna and Pure98's work on attaching the Rola straight to the factory rails and it looks great and will save a ton of money considering I don't have a factory rack.

My question is, will the bike rack attach directly to the bottom crossbars of the basket?

If not, can crossbars be added to the top of the basket?

I Been looking for a ways to add crossbars to the top of the Rola Vortex to add my Snowboard rack. The only thing i could think of is to use an FJ crossbar, but not sure if it will fit.

This option might work for you too. because I don't think the bike will fit inside the basket

ill check it out today.

Hmmm, ya if I can't even add crossbars to the rola, I may just pay more and go for something that will.

Yakima said they don't know if it would attach directly to the basket, sounds like it won't.

Let me know if you figure out a crossbar solution

I know this Photoshop looks like crap i did it fast but this concept might work...
so you put the front wheel in side of the basket and the back sits on top of the back end . Does it make sense?????
