Off road bumper receiver hitch for towing
Greetings all, I am a brand new 4 runner owner and forum member and I had a question for the uber knowledgeable folks here. I have been looking at aftermarket rear bumpers and have seen that many of them for the 4 runner include a receiver hitch. My question is, how much would you really be able to tow with one of these? I'm interested in getting a hitch put on my 4 runner anyway and would love to be able to put on a cool looking offroad bumper instead and still be able to tow. Thanks!

Most off road bumpers are as strong or stronger than the factory tow hitch assy. so you shouldn't have any problems towing if you get one. I believe the factory one is rated for 5,000 lbs.
