how to adjust bilstein struts

just got some bilstein shocks and struts and the struts are adjustable. anyone know how to adjust them to give an inch or two of lift? any help would be great thanks. any suggestion for spacers for the rear would be appreciated too.

I don't have these but there should be a few grooves and a snap ring that snaps into the groove of your choice. The bottom is no lift and the top groove is maximum lift. Usually they come with intructions. If not you could look for intructions on the manufacturers web site.

Are they the Tacoma adjustables? Do they have 3 grooves or 5? I think its 1/2" per groove if they are the correct adjustables for the Runner with 5 grooves. If they have 3 grooves they are the Tacoma adjustables and you should return them...just my opinion
