OME 890 rears to LC 7wraps?
I currently have the Toytec 881 front / 890 rear coils with the OME Sport shocks. The ride is too stiff for my needs. Rides great when the car is loaded up, but this only 1 day a week.
Looking to switch to some LC 7 wrap coils I think. Questions are:
Will this have the rear sitting higher than the front, if so how much? I have a slight rake now, and it does not bother me.
Can I still use the OME Sport Shocks in the rear or should I swap those out too?
Finally, I am doing this to improve ride comfort. Am I on the right path?? Thanks!

Didn't really plan on towing anything, since everything that I would need to tow, the runner couldn't handle anyways.
Anyone have close to the setup I am thinking off? Would the LC 7 wrap coils work with the OME shocks?

Anybody else with some info? Also, a couple of sources that people mentioned on the forum for LC coils have not even gotten back to me with a response. Any other sources for some LC coils? What shocks should I pair them with if keeping the front suspension OME. Thanks.

If you have rake running the OME coils right now, you will have a bit more rake running the LC 7 wraps.
Sounds like a good fit for you, I would probably replace the rear shocks but they may work, Im not entirely sure cuz I dont know many that have run the OME sport shocks. not sure what they are valved for or how much lift they are capable of. Just remember that 7 wraps will give you prob another inch or two lift. I dont see a problem, Im running 5-6 inches of lift in the back with shocks only set for 2.5 inches of lift, so you SHOULD be ok, but I dont know for positive

I'm pairing 7.5 wraps with some LC shocks, just bought them today for 48 bucks a piece from the dealership. Thanks to Rockdawg84 for the part number, here it is: 48531-69417

Yes, you will be okay with the increased length spring with the OME shock. The shock will only limit how much downwards travel the rear suspension will get. Going to LC7 wraps will let you sit higher and softer in the rear then the 890's. Hope this helps

Thanks for the help. I was hoping to not introduce anymore rake than I already have. Do they make LC 6 coil springs? Or maybe get the 7 wraps and cut a coil?

I am watching this thread with eagerness...
I have pretty much decided that the OME lift kit is the best kit for me, for what I want, but I won't be hauling weight most of the time, so softer would be good for me too. It seems that stock LC coil and shock absorber are pretty cheap, and would probably work for me (since it sounds like I want the same as you).
How do the front 881's in front feel to you?

So are you pairing the rear LC shock with a front LC coil?

Ok, so the hunt for the LC 7 wraps has begun. If all goes well I will have the rear OME springs for sale afterwards. I'll try the springs with OME shocks first, if they don't feel right I will be swapping and selling those too. The wheeling I will be doing probably won't make the suspension flex to it's limit.

What about 9 wraps? How do those compare to OME 891?
