Biggest Tires Stock

I'm sure there's plenty of threads about this but I'm feeling a little lazy at the moment and I just want some definite answers. I'm wondering what the biggest tires I can fit on a stock '97 4Runner. I don't want to get a lift but I want somewhat rugged tires, more for mountain/winter driving than offroad. I'll post pics of some with 265/75/16r and this is what I want, but I'm not sure if they're stock and if they rub.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

USE THE SEARCH- there are literally dozens if not hundreds of threads on this. 265/75 will fit stock though to answer your question and is the largest.

What a bad attitude! Since you are lazy and its your first and last time on this forum, let me say welcome aboard! And good riddance! No one is interested in helping you since you are too lazy to help yourself find what you are looking for on our wonderful forum.

BTW you can fit 35" tires on stock suspension no problem.

285/75 is the biggest I've seen on stock suspension.

I have looked before man, just never found any definite topics. Yes I am being lazy but that's because I'm a college student and I have a few tests tomorrow. I really don't feel like I have a bad attitude at all.

I absolutely love my 4Runner and can't wait to get the new wheels and tires I'm researching right now. I only mention that it's the first and last time on here because quite frankly I'm just not into cars enough to sit around and learn more about it. I probably will post some before/after pics once I'm done, just to get some opinions.

I hope it turns out sick. And if I have anymore questions I'll be sure to come to this wonderful forum first. And I'll be sure to search before asking next time! Sorry about the hassle!

If you look harder, you will find there is definitive threads.

Everyone on here welcomes new people, but just be careful how you come across at first, it can put people off. I'm one that doesn't criticize people who post something without searching, or post something that has been discussed many times. I know you don't know that, or that it has been discussed may times. But your attitude does come across in your posts, just like mine is now. Just keep that in mind.

Alright bro, thanks for the advice on forum etiquette. And thanks everybody else for the quick responses. I think I'm just gonna go with 265/75/r16s, look so damn sick in my opinion. Can't wait until they're mounted up!
