New tires after shock replacement..

I recently put new shocks on my 2002 4runner limited. I purchased Monroe sensatracs for both front and rear and got new coils for the front as well. They were supposed to be same as factory shocks but they actualy made the car sit about an 1" (inch) higher or even a little more. And the guy that put them in for me forgot to put the rubber spacers so the car actually sits higher in the front but I am fixing that today.

I wanted to know what size tire can I go up to without bothering the car rides quality... I didn't really wanna go up by tire size but the car just looks funny to me now... It pretty much looks like the tires are too small looking compared to the height and size of the car with the new shocks....I attached a picture if u need to see it. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!!...

Your stock size is a 265/70 R16. You can go up to a 265/75 R16 and that will add an inch of height and zero width (it will also change your speedometer a little, but would look nice with the lift). Thats about all you're going to be able to get under there with only a one inch lift. As far as ride quality goes, that will depend on what sort of tire you get. Aggressive tread/bigger lug/mud tires are going to be a little noisier and stiffer. You'll feel all the bumps. You can get a smooth road tire with softer side walls and this will help to absorb the bumps. Hope this helps.

Thanks!!
I got Monroe sensatracs 171351 for the front which came with the coil springs pre-assembled, which was great coz I didn't have to compress the old coil springs, instead just fully replace them. And I got the same Monroe sensatrac for the rear as well. It's a much smoother ride than what it used to be!! I definitely recommend them. I got them from autopartsexpress.com and I saved around $150 compared to any other store or online store.
