need help identifying on my 96

I am trying to fix up a 96 sr5 that a ten year must have been working on. I attached 3 photos, one is of the left side dash next to steering wheel. the clutch cancel button is there but I dont know whats supposed to go in the other 3 there are 2 wiring plugs behind the dash loose. the second photo is under the hood directly behind the fuse box, it appears a vacuum hose is missing any one have any ideas??? . the 3rd photo shows a steel plate bolted onto the frame under the front bumper, (the lower valance is gone) I was wondering if a part of the original frame was taken off?? if so was it a bolt on or a welded piece, it appears the vehicle had a low speed impact up front and somebody put the plate there to protect the AC condenser. any help would be appreciated I dont know anyone around here with a 4 runner otherwise I would just go look at one. thanks in advance John

I'm not the one posting the pictures.

"Johnnie" was the original poster and was wondering where the pictures were on the thread because he said he included 3 pictures??

oh i know lol, just adding that as if you go that way you don;t even have to upload or d/l a pic just find the one you want on the web and copy the location across, or have a photobucket account so you can use your pics on multiple forums....

anyways.....

Ran across this thread while searching for a loose hose on my 96 sr5. The first pic is the hose that's loose on mine, but it's the other end of the hose that I don't see where it goes.

I just had a CEL come on yesterday, and I noticed the loose hose. It looks like it runs to the other side of the engine behind the air intake tube. Anybody know where it leads to? Thanks in advance.

It should connect to the air filter box

Thanks for the diagram. It doesn't exactly show where it goes though, just says "from air cleaner". I have an aftermarket filter atttached to the stock intake hose with the MAF at the end and no air filter box (I have the guy I just bought this from to thank for that), so does it plug into there? Seeing as how I'm missing that box and don't see anywhere on the rest of the intake tubing to plug that into, my guess is that's where it goes.

I drove 200 miles since I bought it, then a CEL came on, so I'm wondering if it's the cause...

Thanks for your help.
