Potential Christmas gifts/mods?
Hey guys, it's about time for me to send out my Christmas wish list out to my parents and grandparents, and want some cheapish mods for my '99 Runner. (don't mean to sound spoiled or anything, it's all under $250, i'm only 17)
So, as mentioned, it can't be huge purchases. I'd like two or three major gifts to cover it all. I was thinking some DDM 5000k lights to replace my stocks, and.....that's all I got. What would you guys recommend?
My gift to myself is a new head unit, the JVC KW-XR610. Anyone had an experience on this particular one?
Thanks guys!

I asked Santa last year for a headunit, Husky cargo liner, and in-channel vent visors.

I just got some Husky floor liners for the front and they are nice especially now that winter is here. I got the pair for $57 shipped. I have some Wade in-channel rain guard/visors and those were ~$60 too and are another nice addition. So yeah, those are some nice useful cheaper mods. CBs are pretty cheap too.

I'd go with some carbon fiber "look" wiper blades, those sweet LED valve stem caps and maybe an oversized muffler! That would be sick. Oh, and a chrome gear knob for sure.
In all seriousness though, a roof rack is always handy, or bike rack. 99+ headlights, some Hella's, PIAA's or a light bar if you do a lot of night driving. Lots of fun bits to add for reasonable prices. Even tundra brakes if you feel like upgrading some worn stock units.

Just tell them you want money. That way if there is something larger you want you can add it together. Then once you get it just send them a picture of you and your t4r with said item installed and let them know what you spent it on.

I'll try to get some pics of my truck up later after it stops raining for you guys. I don't have any places to wheel anywhere close to my place (closest would probably be Bryan/College Station). Now, it is a 2WD, so I've debated about lifting it an. I was thinking the Toytec 3" without the diff drop obviously haha.
To tell the truth, I'd love to just be able to get my grill guard to fit on my car so I can justify that $80...
