Adjusting clutch?

I just bought a 97 sr5 5speed and I know from my previous runner that the clutch is hooked to the slave cylinder. So how do you adjust it becuse the when I shift it doest slip I just have to let the clutch out all the way. Do I need to bleed the slave cylinder? Thanks

One other thing is that I ampretty sure to use 5w 30 for oil but I have heard from other people that 5w 30 may not be right. Is 5w 30 the correct oil.
