How To Video: Replacing 4Runner Carpet

I recently replaced the carpet in my 4Runner and documented the process in case anybody else has this project in mind.

You ROCK!!!I have about 12 years of replacement reasons in my 98. Where did you get the carpet? Was it specifically for a toyota 4runner?

This is awesome. My 4R's previous owner must have smoked like 3 packs a day inside the 4Runner so it smells awful. I've been considering pulling the carpet out but was worried at how difficult it would be. Didn't realize it was so easy. Thanks for the video!

I got the carpets from StockInteriors.com. They are custom molded to fit the 4Runner, but you still have to trim it up and make all the holes.

jsmarine, if you need my help... just watch the video again! It was a pretty easy job, but all the trimming was time consuming (I drained my battery bc I was listening to my radio while I worked).

Ok....not sure what you are saying, but I'm guessing I need even more beer and some food, and possibly some hard liquor too in order for you to do this for me?!

LOL jk jk!! And thanks for the link, I think I will be ordering a few samples from them shortly.

I was just saying the work is easy, but pretty tedious to do all over again.

Before I ordered the carpet, I got samples too. I made the mistake of going with a non-factory color bc I wanted my interior to be unique. But now I want OEM floormats and they aren't going to perfectly match.
