Westin Bull Bar

Liking how it looks...but is it strong? Or is it strictly for show? I've heard they aren't that strong, but they sure look like just what I'm looking for.

They're mostly for mounting lights. Most any front-end hits are going to push it into your grille.

They are not meant to absorb impact from any mild speed collision and prevent any additional damage, ie the bumper to say the least, so to answer your question, no they're not strong in that point and isn't built to protect but if it pleases your eyes then I support your choice.

Yeah entertain ideas from others but ultimately it's your truck so do with it what you want.

I personally think they look good!

i had one on my runner for a while. i'll admit they look good, but it was barely thicker then your average cola can. I hit something with mine and it was like stepping on an aluminum can. I've since upgraded to an ARB bumper and couldn't be happier as far as protection goes.

If it's the same as duct taping mountain dew cans to my bumper, then I'll pass. Anything else which looks similar but actually can provide some protection? Really like the look, but can't justify it just for pretty.

*snort*

I'll make a chain of them together and give it to you for Christmas for YOUR truck. It'll be very festive in my opinion. Green...red...Merry Christmas!
