'02 sunroof operation

On my '02 4Runner I have to press&hold the sunroof close button until it stops (midway), then release and press&hold again til it closes completely. But on my wifes' '03 Highlander it's auto-open & auto-close! MUCH better!!!

Does anyone know if the wiring diagram shows enough detail for me to eliminate the annoying midway "safety" stop? I'd love to make it auto-close too, but that probably requires too much effort for what it's worth.

Thanks!

I've been looking into this one myself. The auto-open feature is great, but I can't figure out why on earth there isn't the option to auto-close. Is that a "safety" stop midway, or is it the factory's suggested position for the least windy, still open position? I'll let you know if I come up with anything.
