Thanks for all the support! I spend my week watching everyone elses posts, often in awe of the awesome rigs on t4R.
************************************************** ******* Toyota 5-Star 16" Factory Wheels, Powder Coated Gloss Black
************************************************** *******
* I finally got my new 5-Star Toyota Wheels installed.
* I had them Powder Coated at --San Diego Powder Coating-- which is located in El Cajon.
* I painted the Center Caps Toyota logo gloss red by hand.
Total cost: $320 out the door for the powder-coating.
Mounted on a 16" BFG
Here it is with the new Tundra Exhaust Tip installed as well
Factory Center Cap Painted Red (above)
* It took about 1 hr to paint the Logo red on all 4 of these
* I actually spent far more time failing at painting the center-caps gloss black before adding the red
* I was forced to strip them down to the plastic and primer them before I got the paint to stick

\Decided to give my 4Runner some tender loving care today
* I started with a full wash followed up by a nice hand waxing
* I try to wax my truck at least 3 times a year
* I am pretty sure this is one of the reasons why after being in the sun 14 years, she is still black as night
My new "this is why I'm hot" pic
And a nice side shot
The lift is still holding up even after 4 years and the addition of an ARB bumper.

Wow man, those wheels turned out great. And I can't believe how flawless and clean your truck is after all these years!

Last week I got these in the mail. They are still wrapped up so that I don't damage them before the install. Another T4R member is going to help me do the install on Monday. He is trading installation labor for my set of Eagle Alloy wheels.

I Did some minor work on my 4Runner today. Sorry no pictures but I will post some after the retrofits are completed on Monday.
My Sunday:
Cleaned out the interior and back cargo area.
Finally installed my SmittyBilt tan tailgate storage cover. It is something I saw on another members thread and felt I had to get one. I installed it into the back of my dual 12" subwoofer box.
I pulled my cargo cover out of the attic and re-installed it. I had previously removed it when I the truck was tinted but I decided to reinstall it to help with my goal of a "clean" looking interior.
I rewired my aftermarket stereo's power wires. I decided to ditch the 1F R.F. capacitor and just run my amplifiers off the battery directly. I installed a 4G distribution block under the rear seat the wires are pretty well hidden now.
Installed the mounting clips for my LED Maglight 3D
Replaced the rear window wiper with a Toyota part. The wiper from Auto-Zone did not match correctly and actually would have scratched the paint.
Upcoming Mods
* Lexus HID Projectors!
* Front sway bar install; I have been running without one for 3 years now
* Replace sunroof motor because it barely works anymore
* Paint front calipers aluminum; rust color is just not doing it for me anymore
* Dash and interior lighting upgrade
Signature upgrade
A few days ago I upgraded my signature and included a link to this Johnny Cash music video. The song is titled "Gods Gonna Cut You Down" and it is one of the last songs he wrote before he died. I am actually not very religious but I really like this song, I think it is written and performed very well.

Awesome man! lotsa cool progress. Im stoked to see you got a good deal on some retrofit labour and can't wait to see the results! What shroud are you going with? Going to paint the shrouds and bowls??
Nice additions man! I really like that head unit.....I'm still rocking my JVC, but will most likely search for a double din when this one craps out.....

Those Alpine's are good decks... great sound quality.
I've gotta give you props for your willingness to make the investment in projector headlights. For me it's a bling item, as my IPF's light up the road to my satisfaction and then some, for $150 and minimal labor.
However, if I had a chance to buy some projector headlights, professionally done, for a decent price.... I would in a heartbeat.
Speaking of... there's a thread in the classifieds on YT right now.....
