Smile Where's the strangest place you worked on your truck??

I'll go first! My kitchen Table! This February was too cold to work on my front bumper assembly, in my non-insulated, non-heated garage.....so :

I also used my bedroom to dry the plastidipped valance:

And then assembled it in the walk-in closet:

Post up your pics! If you don't have pics....share your story!

No pics, but behind a movie screen inside an old movie house while a movie was playing. I think the Bourne Supremacy was the feature film.

Never worked indoors.. haha.

I worked in a family's dirt lot next to the outhouse for about 6 hours when installing a new axle about 400 miles into Baja though..! That was interesting...

The wife put a stop to me working on stuff in the kitchen.

Weirdest place? ... stopped breifly at a Border Control checkpoint in southern Arizona this March to work on my Land Cruiser.

In Brazil, visiting my friend's farm in a Podunk equivalent called Jarinú, I swapped an alternator on my '97 HiLux SW4 in a dairy barn between the two rows of cows (only barn that had good light.) When the cows came in to milk, it was plop...whoosh...plop...whoosh in stereo.

Well this truck's craziest place was about 400ft out in the Ocean (X-mas eve and freezing) removing a battery to shut a flooded security alarm off. The only terminal that would come off by hand was the +, it bites a bit standing waist deep in salt water!

Sad day #1........I was ahhhh
Where's the strangest place you worked on your truck??-img_0599-jpg

But I've also given my kitchen table the works by rebuilding a few valve bodies on it for my 66 Ford Galaxie. Done plenty of work in 110 degree fields in GA working on busted tractors. Then there's 150 degree airplanes sitting in the summer desert heat. I'm so sick of sweating! I need to get back in the water!

Changed out the rear third member on my buddies Tacoma in the dorm parking lot and have done some wrenching on the trail before. My buddy changed his head gasket on the trail in Washington one time while snowing lol.
