Extended Studs Without A Spacer?

Can you add extended length studs without adding a spacers on the front struts? I have a set of tundra struts I'm planing on putting in, but I'm not sure if I will want top plate spacers or not. I don't want to put the struts in and end up wanting more height and have to pay someone to reassemble the struts with extended studs.

I have a set of Tundra struts sitting in my office that I'm putting on. I just need a set of spacers to add the extra lift. No spacer lift for me. I like my 4runner too much to put that junk on.
