synthetic brake fluid and full synthetic powerstering

so i went to the store and i came across synthetic brake fluid,and synthetic tranny fluid well i was wondering can i put this in my Powerstering? It needs to be changed.But what im wondering is that my manual says dexronIII which no more now its Dexron6 but its a semi synthetic...

I think you should be fine not 100% sure but as long as its still DOT3 you should be able to use it or I maybe getting my fluids mixed up.

What is synthetic brake fluid? Isn't all brake fluid synthetic. Unless your talking silicone based DOT 5 fluid which seams pretty synthetic but it will mess your existing brake system up if your cross contaminate.

Power steering fluid-synthetic? Go ahead and try it and give us a long term report on how it performs.

Valvoline offers a full synthetic DOT 3 & 4 brake fluid that will work fine and is compatible. DO NOT use DOT 5 as Singtoe stated. It will damage your braking system.
