I think it would be easier to fit the 3rd gen body on a 5.7 tundra frame than to put the 5.7 into the 4runner

The disk brakes look very doable. Will see when i disassemble.
We are having a heat wave right now so i have not been working on the truck at all. It is too hot..
I vacuumed out all the broken glass, removed the front windshield and jacked out the roof so i can sit in it. I drove it around the neighborhood. It looked like i got hit by an IED. Its ghettofabulas.
Anyway, It is so hot, the only thing that I can do is sit in the drivers seat with the AC blasting. Feels cool on the stool.

That would be amazing. The problem we've been having is not having a direct swap available, but if this works, I'll be on board! Sequoia front AND rear brakes would be AMAZING. Driffter33 has rear disks for a Cadillac, his experience says it wasn't quite worth it. If we can make a direct OEM swap like the TBU... .
Thank you, Singtoe. Wish we had more members on here like yourself. Good luck, and post tons of details, please!

Holy crap.
That's just mad genius - and probably a death sentence!
Thinking about tossing my Tundra engine in the 4Runner gives me the heebie geebies....

The Sequoia is sitting in my driveway. I start it up every once in a while and let the AC cool me down.
I have been so busy lately that I am waiting for a clear weekend to start it.
Plus, I was really hot for a while, but the weather is getting better.
