Excessive Play??
Does this seem like excessive play in the cable (the first cable I'm playing with)



Not sure what cable it is, accelator cable?

That's your cruise control cable, and yes, that is excessive play. Not critical to fix it, but it will help your cruise control a bit. The other 2 cables going to the throttle body are what you want to make sure have no slack. They are the actual accelerator cables.
