HELP! 96 Transmission oil cooler!

I am a newbie...i'm not sure if my 96 toyota 4runner V6 2x4 has a transmission oil cooler unit....i not too sure wat it looks like either....had someone looked at it and they told me i didnt have one...but dude wasnt too sure either! can soem one help me plz

yes. its built into the radiator, the two smaller hoses that come off of the bottom.

Oh! no wonder!!!....the dude that was helping me out was a mechanic at Honda....he had no idea at all...wait until i tell him its built inside the radiator and hidden....i'll look for the small lines...are the lines coming out from the top or bottom of the radiator?......and how come alot of the 4runner guys on here installs aftermarket ones??...is the stock one not good enough??

Lines coming off the bottom go to the trans cooler inside the radiator. Which is why people buy aftermarket trans coolers, because if the internal trans cooler breaks then anti-freeze/water makes its way into the trans (bad). Look up the term pink milkshake, it will have the answers you need.
