ODL Bumper "Crinkle Finish" PICS
When I ordered this bumper from Outdoor Logic it was suggested that I have it coated in Crinkle Finish because it's more durable then the powder coated finish. It's very similar to spray-on bed liner but it seems tougher and water beads off of the finish.
The fit needs a little more tweeking but the bumper will be removed when the winch and lights come in. Also the hood is not latched down.
Hood is not latched.
Inside is completely coated. Note the additional mounting holes for a 1 inch BL. Nice!
Matches my spray-on bedliner grill and flairs nicely.
Obvious need for armor. A front skid plate is my new priority.

Man, that looks awesome!! Any idea what the bumper weighs? Im liking it without the hoops. So did you spray the "crinkle finish" yourself or did ODL do it for you before they shipped?
I wanna paint my sliders with that stuff!

Love it. I think the no hoops might be my favorite style on the OL bumper. But it's 6 to one really.

Not yet, but it passed inspection. The inspection mechanic scratched his head when I explaned the fast blink with LEDs, then I quoted The Kid's statement "DOT reg states that you are reguired to have working turn signals, but says nothing about the rate at which they flash." then he shrugged his shoulders and said "OK". We all know the fast blink indicates a turn signal is not working, but this is Massachusettstan mind you.
I will search the blink mod unless someone has a link.

It was sprayed by ODL. I believe it weighs under 100 lbs, easy for one person to manhandle, however I did use a tool bin just the right height to work off of.

Looks great. Just checked the ODL website, but it doesn't list the "krinkle coat" as an option. How much $ is the krinkle?

I took advantage of the ODL July bumper sale and ordered over the phone. The crinkle finish was offered as finish option so I went for it, not even thinking it would match so well with my spray-on finish. I believe it cost the same as a powder coat finish. Give them a call with CC in hand.

The full hoop version with Powder coat, fog lights turn signals was 90lbs exactly.
I finally got rid of the fast blink by replacing the Flasher with one I got from Autozone for around $10. I want to say it is the Tridon 1397 LED model. Baja bound had posted the exact model in another thread. I think if you are taking the flasher out to do the mod then might as well just replace it with one that works.
