I live in NYS, and have had a full carry permit for over 20 years. I to wish they would enact a nationwide carry permit system. But, I also am not holding my breath. It is bad enough in NY, as it is now. It depends on what county you live in as to how, when, and what restrictions will be placed on your permit when it is approved.
