Climate control backlight dimmer?

I just bought a used 2008 4runner SR5... i noticed the climate control backlight is dimmer than the radio backlight.

Is this normal? Or the previous owner replaced the climate control backlight with a dimmer bulb?

Are you talking about the information panel lighting just above the climate control "knobs"?

If so mine is the same brightness as the rest of the instrument cluster, however I had one side going out and was dim for awhile. The bulbs are really easy to replace, and are $3 each @ the dealership.

^^^^ what he said, very easy bulb swap, takes 15 minutes, go ahead and swap both bulbs, great write up on how to do it, just search HVAC bulb and that should get you there.

Yes, I did mean the information panel above the climate controls.

Thanks for everyones' replies. Its very minor but it just looks odd with the two displays at different brightness.

I'm gonna order the bulbs from the dealer as suggested!
