if you expect the light to be any more then before then led is not what you want but if you want a better cutoff and a more even light output then led will do that vs a halogen light

better cutoff lol, man you guys keep dumping money on led bulbs for headlight, it just not there yet, but since you got this kit for half the price, i say its kind of worth it. cant go wrong with a full hid projector retrofit tho. once you got that route, you wont to go back to halogen period.

might go hid when i find a inspection spot thats a bit more chill. VA is a hard state for mods passing inspection. reason for led is being able to swap back fast vs hid

its about the same right?
cant you leave the harness installed and take out the bulb and ballast?
do the inspection say you cant have additional harness in the engine bay?
what about aftermarket amps installation? got to run a power wire.

I just changed out interior lights to leds and added the Toyota rubber 4Runner floor mats front and rear. I am happy with the leds, I think it's a must do mod for any vehicle. Not completely impress with the floor mats though. I usually go with WeatherTech but decided to same some money and get the Toyota mats.

M1 Extended Performance and YZZD3 oil change. Ran the last M1 for 7ish months and 7kish miles. I stick to 6-8k OCIs even with the M1 EP.

I haven't driven it lately because I still have to pull the front wheels off and try un-seizing the calipers temporarily. Still a little too chilly for my tastes to be taking wheels off and cursing at braking components so I just started it up to make sure the battery was still ok and let it warm up.

While I was at it I took off the lower dash panel below the steering wheel; looked at the harness to the flasher relay to see how much space I have to convert it to a non-DRL relay, Diode Dynamics released a LED-friendly flasher with some really cool features https://www.diodedynamics.com/store/.../category/789/. I also removed the electronic brake controller (from a previous owner) mounted to this dash panel, whoever installed it did a neat job.

I also took the grill off to decide whether or not to plastidip the silver painted areas or keep it as-is, ended up snapping the bolt holding the latch release to the hood , another thing I have to fix when it gets a little warmer.

I'm inside now, bought cheap replacement front turn signals off eBay since the stock ones are water damaged from inside the housings, to prevent these new ones from suffering the same fate I'll be extending the vent hoses so they end up higher in the bumper or grill area, but that'll be another day. Today I'm applying a clear paint protective type film on the lenses to reduce the chances of rock chips.

roofor rack chop, cut extend

scored a free roof rack a couple months ago but it was just too short for my liking and it screwed together so you could add an extension and I didn't like that or the little rubber sleeves that went over the seams either..so i welded up the screw holes and went and got some 1" and 3/4" steel tubing for the top and bottom bar and some 1/4" for the floor.. still needs paint or powdercoat but got all the fab done today..can't complain about it I'm very happy for the I'm $17 bucks into it.. I added 12.25" in overall length, waiting on the bedliner to dry and ill get some more pics
