Both rear doors were hitting my sliders every time they are opened (that are welded on). Trimmed a little fat off the steel, sanding down and painting new groove to clear the doors. Also, had a buddy cut some steel to offset a Wilco jerry can attachment.

Oil change and radiator fluid change. Opened the hood and saw this "squirrel damage":



Patched the hood liner back together with a glue gun.

so trying to chase a persistent p0174 error, LTFT on bank 2 is 37% high, while bank 1 is 14%, have cleaned, maf sensor and throttle body, changed airfilter, no luck, next step is to change fuel pump+filter, but i want to test the furl pressure first. ordered the kit from amazon, but ran into hitch, am unable to locate the fuel rail/where to hook up the fuel pressure kit. my truck is 05 v6, would appreciate any head ups for this procedure or links for videos to match.

Power steering

Being bored and having the itch to work on the 4Runner...I decided to do a power steering flush. The truck only has 83k miles on it, but it -is- an 04 so I figured it wouldn't hurt. Old fluid was pretty foul looking. Went through a little over a quart til it was coming out fresh as a daisy.

My what a difference it made. So much smoother when turning the wheel, and it feels a bit more responsive overall. Definitely worth doing!

Yep! It's actually at 82.9k =)

Purchased from a family friend who hardly did any long distance driving for a whopping $5k. Only downside is she's only 2wd...for now.

I've Had quite a few conversations with Wyatt over at Rock Solid Toys and sometime next year she'll be getting the conversion. It ain't cheap, but a 4wd 4th gen with mileage this low doesn't really exist. I don't plan on ever getting rid of this truck, so to me it'll be worth it.

Maryland State Inspection is a 1 time safety inspection. It can be a pain in the ass and a major hassle.

I'll get an emissions notice shortly, as the current emission. Test expires next month.

41k miles here!!! Nothing much to add here other than replacing my rear coil springs under warranty as one side snapped

recently got a 2006 4Runner sport V6 4WD with 192k

today replaced spark plugs
rear diff oil w/mobil1
installed black housing headlights
lubed both driveshafts
replaced rear brake pads.
installed 5th gen front struts w/coil, rear strut, upper control arm
went off roading in some local areas.

Just so you know, it isnít actually a bolt. The shaft has a threaded section beyond the arm bushing with a nut that retains it. So, you should be able to carefully cut the nut off with a small Dremel cutoff wheel similar to what I did with the arm bushing. You may be able to then just run a die over the threads and replace the nut after the new arm is on.
