Today I adjusted my hood bump stops and stopped an irritating squeak every time I hit a harsh bump. The hood squeak from prior posts is legit. Twist twist silent.

Replaced the steering rack with a low mile one last weekend, eliminating the stock worn out steering rack bushings in the process. Still have a clunk when I go over bumps Literally the only thing I haven't changed yet is the lower ball joints and wheel bearings

I've replaced everything, including the LBJ's and wheel bearings, and still have the damn clunk. I have tried everything I can think of to diagnose it with no success.

Do you guys still have the front swaybar connected at all? I could not get mine to stop clunking till I removed it...

Might also want to loosen/retorque (while on the ground) the upper and lower control arm mounting bolts. They can sometimes bind if they were tightened while the suspension was unloaded.

Also might be worth taking a look at the skid plate bolts and making sure they're all snug.

I now have an annoying clunk except I know exactly what mine is. My skid plate touches my diff (barely) because of my diff drop. Every speed bump and backing in to my garage it clunks. I’ll probably remove the diff drop, but it doesn’t bother me much honestly.

No front sway bar, no skid plates installed. I just installed new Whiteline lower control arm bushings too and those bolts are tight. Also put new uniballs in the Total Chaos UCAs.

Those things look like a meathead who skips leg day when they’re lifted too high in my opinion
