So far this weekend, I have installed a new Android head unit (ATOTO A6Y), replaced the JBL sub with the 8" Pioneer one, replaced the power steering hose from the reservoir to the pump and changed out the gear oil in the rear diff. Didn't have enough on hand to do the tcase and front diff.
Still trying to determine what trim piece I'm missing for the stereo install since there are gaps around the edges and from pics other people have posted here, there should be some sort of trim for that.
Pioneer sub hidden behind the stock grill.
OEM hose from the reservoir to the pump and new constant tension clamps. The old hoses were so brittle I was able to snap them in half by hand.

I just replaced the factory subwoofer with the Pioneer TS-SW2002D2. Pretty easy to do if you follow this thread
How to: access and remove the subwoofer

OEM may not be an option

Just a head's up I tried ordering new oem color matched door handles for my blue runner and was told by 2 parts departments (including olathe) no Toyota distribution warehouse in the US had them and they would likely not come back in stock. I'm hopeful you'll have better luck with your color. I'm probably just going to try black plasti dip and see how it turns out. :/

where did you get your hoses? im planning on redoing mines on the v6, dont know if i should just purchase couple feet of transmission fluid rated hoses since i dont think they sell just the rubber hoses without the hard line. also what size? is it 3/8? or 5/8

scored a set of wheels over the weekend, waiting on new lug nuts, surprised the original guy used stock nuts and that didnt even bite much, also need to chage the tires as one pair is from 2011 and another at 2015. should be ok to drive to tire shop.

The smaller return line is 3/8" fuel injection hose. You can't buy just the return line hose, they only sell the whole hard line with rubber hose, dumb.
The hose between the reservoir and pump is a new OEM, along with the tension clamps. I got them from McGeorge Toyota online.

thanks, i only need to find some hoses for the return line, i guess the cheapest solution is buy couple feet of the transmission fluid rated hose. i get a little bit of residue right now around the return line and reservoir.

Replaced spark plugs. Autozone only had NGK double platinum in stock so paid a few extra dollars. The previous Denso copper had about 32k when changed.

New front sway bar bushings (blue Moogs) and new serpentine belt. My 4Runner is so much quieter now.

Not all rubber hoses are created equal. While some rubber fuel hoses may work, it's generally a good idea to get one that's specific for your application since oil can break down some rubbers. J189 rated rubber hoses are what you want for power steering systems.
The return line on the power steering reservoir looks like the same size as the one on the power steering rack which is 3/8" ID but I would double check to make sure.

Well, my aftermarket garbage exhaust rotted off (had to zip tie it to the cross-member to stop it from rattling)... I didn't really want a performance exhaust, but I did want stainless. So I bit the bullet and looked until I found a Gibson on sale. I got the black tip stainless elite for $379 shipped, so I was happy with the price. Got it installed today in 40 minutes. As recommended I stuffed a screw driver handle between the pipe and cross member before tightening the clamps. I do not have any rattles as some have had. The exhaust is deep and louder than stock at idle up to about 2300 RPM then I don't notice a difference. So far I do like it.
If you buy this exhaust here are my tips.
1) buy a new donut gasket as it does not come with one.
2) Use the screw driver handle trick mentioned above to avoid rattles.
3) Leave all isolator hangers on the vehicle, apply a quick squirt of penetrant to each hole before install to allow the new hangers to go in easily.
4) Install the pipe over the cross member first and work in both directions off of that (you have extra pipes to fit different models, this will help you figure out which you need most easily)
5) Assemble it in the vehicle and do ALL of the hangers last. NOT by one as you go.
My only gripe with this exhaust is the tip placement shows a ton of the pipe inside it (maybe this will go away with some driving and soot) but I feel the need to take the tip off and cut a good 5 or 6 inches off the tail pipe. I will be doing so and then pushing the tip in a bit farther. Other than that this cannot be beat for the price.

Removed factory trans cooler and replaced with the bigger B&M 70266. Used factory lines and all. Trans is staying about 20 degrees cooler per the Torque app. Now to figure out why my deep tone horn isn't working..

Unintentional upgrades
Weekend project started out replacing ball joints, CV Axles, and outer tie rods. Because of how these parts were sold in packages, finding seized alignment bolts, caliper cylinders, etc., final project ended up being new UCAs, LCAs, wheel hubs, rotors, brakes, plus afore mentioned CVs, ball joints, and tie rod ends. Fresh alignment and she's back on the road today. Oh, and also removed running boards.
