Put ARB skids on. I'm really pleased with how sturdy these are. A few previous posts complained that they were not much better than stock, which I have to disagree with.

Part#: ARB-5421100 - I ordered from Alldogs offroad who seem like they just drop shipped them, but shipping was free.

Installed a new transmission cooler and made the OEM one the power steering cooler this morning.

Went with this cooler, rated and 20,000 GVW and 15,000 BTU. Hopefully better than the stock one. - Tru-Cool LPD 4543 Automatic Transmission Cooler 20,000 GVW LPD4543 Fluid Oil True-Cool OC: Oregon Performance Transmission

Took it for a 100 mile drive to get rid of some gas before started fuel tank strap replacement project, which first step drop skid and support rear of tank with support strap, drill out twisted off strap bolt, 2.5 hours! Quit for day as i'm an old man!

I'd have done it living in Bend even.

You guys have been hitting some high temps lately. My mom lives in Redmond, told me it was 102 there yesterday.

Good point, yup 101 at my place east side of Bend yesterday. Ive got in-laws south of you in Green Valley. Toasty this time of the year for you down there.
Was your Trans cooling Mod pretty straight forward? And/or key tips you can share?

Straight forward. Just getting the right size cooler and then figuring out the mounting. Need longer hose obviously but that's about it. I'll probably change up the routing when I get around to building a front bumper since I have a couple Magnafine inline filters to install, one each for the trans and power steering. Didn't want to mess with mounting those just yet tho. There are more pics in my build thread, linked in my sig.

Also yesterday. Installed the CBI passenger side ditch light bracket that I'm going to use for my CB antenna.

I installed new fuel tank support straps on my '03 V8. Next is scrape, sand, prime/paint RCI fuel tank skid which is badly rusted after about 3 years.

I always feel bad for the people that live in the rust belt. I'm especially grateful when I work on my cars that have lived in the southwest.

Yes, every project is more of a battle due to rust, it's really terrible! Both strap bolts were rusted in place, rear one I twisted off so 2 hours of drilling out, the front bolt I used my new electric impact on and it broke it free and took it out.
I then spend 10-15 minutes thoroughly hand greasing the bolts and washers I put back in. When I see pictures of rigs from SW and see undercarriage makes me drool!

Power tools are a game changer. I started tearing apart my suspension for a refresh on my LCA's and some other goodies and holy Batman it makes everything easier and faster. Should have bought sooner lol.

Power tools have definitely helped me with removing crusty bolts, I also should have bought them sooner. I broke 5/8 front skid bolts after trying a bunch of penetrating fluids and letting them sit, as well as a heating a bunch. I picked up this Bauer electric impact from Harbor Freight a bit ago and its been a champ. I used a small bit of of penetrating fluid on 1/2 the tank skid bolts, and it took out every single one without issue. I believe its the intermittent torquing of the impact that keeps the bolts from shearing, I love it.

I love anti-seize too, but I always end up wearing double the amount I applied to the bolts lol

Installed new OEM rear hatch lift supports, they're the cold spec but they seem to work fine in the heat we're having.
Edit: 100 bucks to my door all the way from Earnhardt Toyota in Mesa; the local dealer here is a joke.
