My favorites:
-USB charging jack
-Front map light mod so they turn on when the doors are opened.
-Backup camera
Definitely going to get a USB charging outlet and backup camera when I change the headunit, the stock one definitely has to go. That light mod though, I can live without...however I will be upgrading all interior lights to LED.
Painted/installed my LFD front skid and a filler skid I picked up on here a while ago! My old ones were certainly ready to go...Seems super sturdy and arrived in just a week or two. My only issue was the one of the braces on the back was making contact with my passenger side diff bushing. I grabbed some nylon spacers and longer bolts from Home Depot and put them in the front, and now it's good to go! Pic is from when it was still hitting.
Time to go beat the crap out of it before heading to Overland Expo East tomorrow! If anyone sees me (or rather, my 4Runner) there, say hi!
I added some Rad Rubber Design fender flaps because my old ones were ripped and brittle. These ones are super high quality, i dont think they will ever rip apart. very easy to install, just rip the old ones out put new ones in. Come with new fasteners too.

Did this mod a few months ago. A little pricey for what it is, but I am satisfied.
Put on replacement liftgate struts
Replaced HVAC LCD bulb
Also:
Bought the AJT design key fob cover
AND finally pulled the trigger on a set of 5100s. Local 4wheeler shop had them on special for $316 tax included! Might be able to get them installed tomorrow as well! Definitely can't wait to see how it feels over the stock OEM shocks I have that have 159k on them lol. Also I will of course be leveling the ride out as well
Glad I put that skid on....just smacked the crap outta it, my muffler, and my right lower link. Water on your tires makes rock obstacles a liiiittle more difficult and slippery.
The shaft seals tend to leak if they’re old or you nick them. They’re not very expensive the only downside is you have to take out the CV to replace it. Seeing as you’ve already done that, should be pretty easy. It’ll leak from the CV entrances if that’s the source.

Think I have this going on on one side, what’s the best way to install the new seals? I’ve heard they’re very fragile. When I had new cv’s installed about 30k ago I didn’t change them like an idiot

Needed to take some pictures of the 4 new Cooper Discoverer STT Pro LT295/70/17's I'm hoping to sell. Also steam cleaned the headliner. Headliner held together perfectly with the added heat.

I’ve never had to replace mine even after swapping CV’s at least twice each side. If I remember correctly from reading about it, easiest method is to pull the old one, just barely seat the new one in the housing and use the CV to push it in as the CV seats. Others also used a piece of PVC but had problems seating it too far or mangling it and it still leaking I think.
CVJ axles installed. New brake pads all the way around and a new left/front hub assembly.
