I'm that single with no kids guy, but love being the fun Uncle Ryan, so now my 4 year old nephew can go on adventures with me! Definitely something I never thought I'd have in my vehicle, but glad I found one that even matches my interior LOL! Anyone know why my pics sometimes turn out sideways like this?

Replaced my steering shaft on the weekend. A pain to get the lower part off the rack but now no intermittent hard steering and the looseness is gone too. That u-joint was toast.

So a buddy and I installed 2016 Tacoma TRD suspension in the front of my 2006 2wd V6 today, finally! My 4Runner has almost 170k miles so I am pretty sure the stock stuff was sagging a bit, but with that being said I got right about 3.25" of lift from where it was, which gives it just a slight front rake. I have the rear Bilsteins from the Tacoma also, so I'm thinking some springs to lift it about 1" in rear would be perfect. Any suggestions? I'm thinking Bilstein B12's or Eibachs.
Here is a pic of the 4Runner originally, and now (the rake seems a bit exaggerated due to the slope of the parking spot), and now next to a neighbor's 3rd gen Tacoma TRD. Rubs a little at full-lock, and you can see some slight positive camber, so definitely needs an alignment soon, but it drives straight and smooth down the road.

Of course. I need to spin it 3 or 4 teeth but I ran out of time. Air hammer helped to get the lower off.

Fluid film! Was super easy with the spray gun and extension hoses I got off of Amazon.

Long day.. I installed a Fumoto valve, changed the oil, installed my RCI steel skid plate, pulled off my sidesteps, replaced my leaking axle seals, extended my rear diff breather to the gas door area (stock was plugged as well), hardwired my Valentine1, pulled the second filter off the airbox, and finally installed Slyfox's SAP bypass kit (super easy, well put together), and finally dropped the spare, aired it up and lubed the pulley for it

Re-booted the CVs with OEM boots. Feels good to have that done! Doing Whiteline LCA bushings tomorrow

What method are you using to replace the bushings? Any good write ups?

Sealed up the frame and wheel wells. Won't go into how messy and a pita this is but well worth it. I did the rear a few weeks ago.

The only pointer I read that helped was heating up the metal around the bushing and heating/prying on them until the rubber is completely out of the sleeve. Then I took an air body saw and cut the metal sleeves in half length wise and pounded them out with a hammer and punch. Could do it quicker next time around now that I have all the tools necessary. I used my 20 ton press to install the bushings but could have made some kind of press out of all thread and some metal sleeves but the press was way easier once I figured out all the pieces to make it work.
