What lift setting are you using in the front, by 2 you mean the 1.75" notch? Do you have a spacer in the rear? Looks nice

Looks great! What was the total lift gain in front/back?

I totally spaced measuring prior to lift. But I will say a bump over 2". Final measurement for front is 37" on both sides, and for rear driver side 38 1/2 and passenger side 39". I'll take measurements after a month or so to see what the settling in difference is. I had the 1.5 daystar ready to install, but after I saw the front after installing 5100's I didn't want to go any higher. Figured it would not match up and make my new tires look smaller. So I held back and glad I did. I think it looks perfect. It's only 2wheel drive, so no need. I rides sweet. Could not have done it without the help from some awesome guys on here.

Maui, that looks perfect. I'm about to do the same thing to my 04, 2WD, V8.
Do you have the parts list and where did you buy from?

Bought it all from RockAuto. Just put your year and make, and you will get the correct parts. I can look my records up and and see, but you can also call them. They will hook you up

Way to go looks amazing!!!
Your one hell of a father for what you did, stepped out of your comfort zone and stepped into something you thought you were incapable of doing and above your skill level....
And you still let a bunch of 4Runner luvin wrenching wheeling junkies talk you into it? You had your times of confusion along with some battles but you always came back the next day to get ur done.
Well brotha you've earned my respect.
Job well done, fuk'r!!!

I have an 05 (v6) with 5100s all around, stock springs in the front and 2in spacer in the rear. I ordered Icon 2" coils and need a recommendation for the front coil to replace the stock coil springs...Im looking at the toytec/eibach coilsl or the OME 885s... any other coils i should consider?
I have a Demello aluminum front bumper, front runner roof rack w/ 2 jerry cans, a 150lb RTT and sliders.. so a decent amount of added weight.

1st Mod to stock '07 Ltd 8 cyl 4WD
I just bought a set of Bilstein 5100s for the front of my '07 Ltd 8 cyl 4WD, no XREAS. 121K miles
Reason: I want to level out the stance and occasionally drive rutted unpaved roads.
note: All suspension currently stock and rides very nicely.
Question: What setting do I need to to use on the front Bilsteins to achieve this level stance?
Future plans: TRD 17" wheels and 285 70 tires

Hey guys,
I'm having a shop replace all 4 front control arms and I'm going to be buying the cam adjusters assuming they're all siezed (Canada).
Is the part that usually gets stuck only p/n 48409D? Does the bolt get stuck inside the cam sleeve or does the cam sleeve get stuck to the bushing sleeve? Looking to reuse the bolt, nut and one cam if possible.
Can I get away with only replacing this item?
THanks

FJ Coils and bilstein 5100s
After reading through countless threads I think I have finally gathered enough information to make a decision on my suspension lift. I drive a 2003 2WD 4Runner SR5 and really like mauidivers setup so I have chosen to go with the FJ coils and bilstein 5100. I have located some FJ Coils from an 07 FJ Cruiser that have 100k miles on them. So my question is how used is too used when it comes to the FJ coils and would these be a good investment to install having 100k miles on them. Sorry for my ignorance as I am very new to this and don't want to buy something that I might need to replace after a couple years when I could have purchased new.
Another question I have is what is the part # for the specific bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks that everybody uses? I have done a few different searches and feel like I am finding different options for my 03 4Runner. Are people using the FJ Cruiser setup for the bilstein 5100 or just searching for the shocks that would fit their specific vehicle, in my case a 2003 2wd SR5.
Thanks in advance for your time.
