Well, I'm not a tire pro, but the wheels could be worth > $1000, if not $1500, and the tires DO look brand new-ish, worth upwards of $200/ea. Split the diff on the rims, and you get: $2050. Shipping is only question. You want 'em....?
Get 'em. It all looks great, IMO.

Can't see Clemsonfan15's posted rebuttal photo shots up closer than the ones in your ad, so comparisons can't be trusted. First, call the dealership and price the rims new. I suggest doing this while sitting down. Then if you like the tires and tread, make a decision. Shipping will be important, and it may behoove you to drive there and pick them up if you can. Might be cheaper than shipping. If the shipping was decent (and I haven't a CLUE what it should be), I'd get 'em in a heartbeat, again, if you want 'em.....

Well, the guy lives in AL, and I like in ATL (Atlanta, for those of you who don't know). So, from Atlanta to Birmingham it's 146 miles, 146 x2 is 292 so about 292 miles from home to there & back, and if I fill her all the way up I can get 300ish miles, and last time I was on the interstate I got 25-27 MPG, and 20ish going 95.
thanks for the opinion guys, I think I'm going to pass (even tho they are in amazing condition and her the tires I want) and find something more local. Now just for payday.....

Doesn't really seem that far off if the wheels really are mint and the tires are basically brand new. As someone else mentioned, the tires alone could be around $800. I'd offer $1000 and start negotiating from there. I think he'll have a pretty hard time getting $1500 for them, especially on Craigslist.

Doesn't seem that bad to me. The tires alone brand new are like $1,000 so you downgrade that to the used price of maybe $800 and add on the $300-$500 for the wheels (they look immaculate) and you're looking at $1,100-$1,300 for a reasonable asking price IMO. I'd go with Dusty Driftwood's suggestion and offer around a $1,000 and go from there.
PS_I've been considering getting these rims for my '06 Sport for a LONG time and seeing your post brought it back into my mind and I think I'm going to go for it as soon as I find some for a decent price.

I agree that 1000-1200 is the number on the set. Good luck!

way over priced. DOnt forget the price given by others is for new tires with a warranty.

You guys are really lucky to find deals like these. I find the states is great for finding deals on automotive items. Up here was get screwed, it's practically impossible to reasonably priced tires and rims in good condition. I paid 1200 for 4 FJ cruiser rims with tires AND that was a cheat LOL....one FJ rim WITHOUT a tire new from the stealer is $650 LOL and I'm sure all other Toyota alloys are priced similar. I'd say any price below 1500 for a set of Toyota wheels/tires is a deal but that just what i'm use to, it all depends on local prices!
