I'm still waiting to hear back from the seller about the brackets. Once I hear back I'll make sure to let everyone know. I'm wondering if maybe there is a difference between the 2003-05 4th Gens and my 07. I know that the seller stated that it will fit my 07 but I'm wondering if they are wrong. I'm just hoping they packed the wrong brackets.

Fvalentin,

Did you figure out the brackets?? Looking at the pic below it seems like the bracket should go under the bumper mount with the long bolts coming up through it (see bracket on the left), you have it on the top of the bumper mount. Not sure but worth a try.

Hope it helps

Thanks for the info Qjake! That makes a hell of a lot more sense. I was frustrated and didn't think of that at all. I'll try to give it a go again hopefully this weekend while my brother is here.

It looks unfinished IMO. I don't know if I'm really feeling that bar. I think 4 lights would be better than those little ones.

I promise you it will fit. Not perfect, but it will fit once you tighten everything down...

I have the Steelcraft and sure enough, it didn't fit my 2007. Steelcraft promised to make new brackets, but they never followed through. I fabricated some connectors, but it still ain't right.

I was advised by the seller that they do not have any other type of brackets but they offered to give me a partial refund if I decide to keep it.

Got mine today but couldn't really figure out how to install it since the included "guide" is just a part list.

Could someone briefly talk about the installation procedure?

Thanks a lot!

I actually Haven't had a chance to install mine yet because I'm waiting for my brother to show up and help me out. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person in the world. Tamiyatim was able to install his but he stated that the parts didn't fit all that well and needed to be "persuaded" a bit.

Thanks for the reply, actually I'm having the exact problem as you (the 2 holes on the bracket don't align with those on the frame so the bolt can't pass through both)

I want to order but I don't want to unless it fits correctly. Is this just an issue from 04 to 07?

Can't wait to see how this ends up.

@OP. I really like your install - looks good.

I'm not feeling the little fog lights tho... wrong size and wrong shape (square). Matching round lights would look best imo.

Hey i just installed some lights on a grille guard too PIAA 520 Installation Complete! (Picture Review) and was wondering if you use any security nuts or screws to prevent someone coming up to your truck with a wrench and some wire cutters and stealing the lights? I'm trying to work out an anti-theft system so no one steals my lights.

The guy from the ebay store stated that he would give me a partial refund if I decide to keep it which I will. If I were you I would definitely take pics and email the seller right away. My brother knows a guys who can fabricate the parts so I should be reaching out to him soon and find out what the cost would be. I'll keep you all posted.
