Brake squeak in reverse
I have a Baer brake kit on my runner that i had installed this last may, They are some of the best brakes i have ever put on a vehicle! However i am having a slight problem with my runner recently...
I am going to college in an area where it is very cold, snows the majority of the week, or otherwise if not snow its quite damp, and my runner sometimes sits for a day or 2 depending on if i need to leave or not.
Where my problem is that when i put the vehicle in reverse (say to back out of a parking stall) after my car has been sitting for a few hours or more, i get this halacious nail on a chalk board noise coming from i believe the (rear) brakes every time it rolls backwards... ONLY when im in reverse however! and it happens almost everytime its below 30 outside, and its wet/ damp and im in reverse, NEVER does it when im in drive, even after initial start up and go in drive, i get nothing.... which puzzels me
can any one enighten me on what the problem might be or how to fix it ?
thanks- alex
