Wheel Offset SR5's & FJ's

Can anybody tell me the offset of my 2006 SR5 4runner wheels running 255/75/17, and some NEW FJ wheels with posibly 265/70/17. Looking to put the FJ's on. Was going to get the 1.5 wheel spacers, but if I go with the FJ's will I need the spacer to get the same stance? Would like to know the measurements.

The FJ wheels are a 1/2" wider.

1/2" wider wheel doesn't mean it will stick out a 1/2" more though. That's why the actual offset #'s are important. I'm also interested in this, anyone know the offset of SR5 or sport wheels?

I have heard the stock 4Runner wheel has a 30 mm offset and that FJ wheels have a 15mm offset. This equates to providing 15 mm (0.59").
Now I am not sure if this is for all FJ rims? Mainly the ones I'm looking at getting.
Also what would be a good price for them seen a few sets for $550.
Trying to see if it's just worth buying the rims?

Sorry! The offset IS a 1/2" more with the FJ wheels.

Well I got the wheels and they are 15mm different or .59" They do give a little better stance but mainly just look better.

just for the sake of total accuracy; if the 4R wheels are 17x7.5 et30, and the FJ's are 17x8 et15, that equates to a .84" additional poke from the mounting surface. because offsets deal with the centerline of the wheel, a difference in width also affects the poke even under the same offset. so the .84" number takes into account the 15mm poke provided from just the offset as well as the added width.

Thanks for the offset info!

I'm wanting to do the same thing!! Thanks for this info and pix! I need to buy tires for my 06 T4R and found a set of 12 FJ rims with tires for the same as 4 new tires. This would give me an extra set of rims. My 06 rims are fine just wanted to have that "different" look.

So you just put these on, no spacers needed right? Also, are these FJ rims steel vs aluminum that I have now? If so I'm guessing heavier?

Thanks!!

The wheels are a direct bolt on it's like the FJ wheels were made for the 4R
The FJ wheels weight about the same as my SR5 wheels did. I sold my SR5 wheels locally for $275 no TPM sensor or stem but I gave them 20 lugs.
I paid $550 with 24 lugs and stems for the FJ wheels they were brand new take offs from a 2012 with about 5 miles. From what I have seen $500 to $600 for a new set is average. You dont need spacers but they sure do make it look better. I'm waiting on some 1.25 spacers from All-Pro, They are on backorder as usual! You get a good price from All-Pro, I had got them 20% off but you have to wait a month to get them! They don't tell you this unless you ask and they don't tell you what the shipping costs are either

Glad to hear a direct fit! I can get all 5 of them for $650 and they come with 265/70R17 Dunlop Grandtrek tires with only 10000 miles on them. Hope they ride good. I was going to get Michelins on the stock rims.

Not thinking this matters but figured I would ask. My 06 is a Sport Edition. That doesn't matter for these rims right?

Yea they should fit fine on a Sport Edition. I don't have any spacers on mine, and I love the way they look. The stance is just a little wider than stock.

Put my 1.25 spacers on this last weekend and it looks good. I did have a pretty good amount of rubbing had to move the fender liner forward and take off the front flaps to be safe they were super close to rubbing. It was much worse on the passenger front. Here are some pic's, 1st without 2nd with spacers.
