Wink Toyota credit card

Toyota has announced starting June (according to Wall St. Jour) they will offer a no fee Visa card. Actually its a Lexus card and can be used to buy vehicles. Five points for every $ spent at Lexus dealer and 1.5 points for all other charges.Points can be used to get as much as 10% off at Lexus dealer, and points don't expire. To bad can't buy any Toyota product but maybe thats coming.

I don't rule out the possibility to buy a Lexus car in future time. Especially when I have my family and babies if they have minivan for me.

Don't know if they have cap on how much you can accumulate on rebate each month.

Do you know if the rebates you get from the credit card with Lexus are like a manufacturer rebate to the dealer - ie they could come off whatever price you manage to negotiate or is it a case of 10% off MRSP - no other offers with this deal? I always wanted Toyota to do this after the GM card came out - maybe they will do it for Toyota's by the time it finally reaches Canada!!

I think it would have to be off the deal you make and then you get whatever off you have in points.....thats the way the GM card works. They didn't really state that in the article.

If that's the case, I would sign up tomorrow if they introduced into Canada (then I'd find a way to route my current Toyota Finance payments through it so the current car pays for the next!!)
