Hey, sorry about reviving an old thread... Trying to confirm there is no difference in the exhaust system on an 03 and an 04 (4.7)

I have ordered the Gibson 18707 system. The place I ordered it from is saying that the system is for 04+ 4Runners (4.7)

Any clarification help would be great!!

It's messed up because I have searched it up and down, that Gibson system is all that shows up for the 4.7 4Runner. And there are plenty of 03 4.7's running this system...

Screw it, I'm buying it and I'll report back.

i am not, 04 v6. i guess my point was that it says it didn't fit mine, but ended up fitting perfectly, and as far as i know, the exhaust from the y-pipe back never changed from 03-09, so i can't imagine it not working on an 03-05 vs 06-09 or v8 vs v6

My order confirmation from this past May shows "G27618707 Gibson Swept Side 618707 Stainless Steel Exhaust System..." Mine is an '03 v8 Sport Edition.

should be fine, also burtman industries also carries the right one, 03-09 4runner fitment should be the same

Is the exhaust tube size for the magnaflow any bigger than the factory exhaust tube size?

I had it on my 03 V8 and it fit just fine. When I moved it over to my 06 V8 I had to get it customized since the VVTi V8s have a different configuration. I think it had to be shortened. That's why the early V8 have a different part number.
