Suddenly the throttle started cutting out and the check engine light came on. Then I popped it into neutral until finally it died.. So I coasted to a stop, popped the hood and didn't see any moisture or anything. Asked my wife to try and start it. It started we took off. 2 minutes later did the exact same thing. This time it would never start back. After several hours troubleshooting on the side of the road with some great Samaritans! This is what we know.
2003 Toyota 4runner v8 SR5 196k milage
Replaced the timing belt and water pump at 179k when I purchased it.
Put 5 gallons in the tank even though it was reading a quarter of a tank
It is getting fuel to fuel rails
All fuses and relays seem to be good
Pulling code B2799 Immobilizer
Tried resetting the ECU by disconnecting the battery, still no change
After letting it sit over night it started right up and drove to the trailer where it died shortly before loading on to the trailer.
I don't have the money to take this issue to the stealership.. I need help.. Has anyone else ever seen this issue?

Turns out it was the wiring that went to the Crank position sensor. It had come off. Started right up after replaced wire.
