I'd be interested as well depending on price but I would also want to know what the options are for cats. I would loan my runner but I'm in MA

With labor you are probably talking $2500...

Parts alone though you can purchase Toyota OEMs for around $650/side. Again, I would be willing to bet they will crack eventually too though.

I am pretty sure you are correct. The 03s have a different transmission and the 05+ have a different intake. These factors will change the exhaust routing since our 4.7s are shoe horned into the engine bay.

I was talking about just for the part.

2004 TOYOTA 4RUNNER Left Exhaust Manifold

I just spoke with the Doug Thorley guys. They said that any California people can only have OEM to be legal, so no high flow cats for them.

POLL ADDED!

It's looking that this will have to be for VVTI engines only. 05+
This is the 05-09

This is the 03-04

And regarding high flow cat or not. They said they can built it either way but we will have to decide or get 25 people for the catted and 25 people for the non-catted.

I would like to hear feedback on what version people will be wanting...

I think I would like to see them in a cat'd version. I would definitely be interested if the price was right. I have an 06 and it is the 2uzfe motor. Do I have the motor that y'all are talking about having manifolds made for?

I'm interested and I'm in So-Cal, Just would be difficult for me to part with the 4Runner for however long they would need it for. I would probably have to buy the headers and get them installed after my 80k emissions warranty expires though.

I would need them California legal, so either they be short tubes and we have to weld on the stock cats or they come with cats. I could always get that kit from URD to simulate the O2 sensors, just not sure how that all works with Smog testing. Long tubes on these 4.7 V8s would be awesome, I just need it to be able to pass smog every two years.

So are 03-04 people SOL, if there are 25 people with an 03-04 4Runner then maybe they would make those too.

FWIW the performance gains on the 100 were dyno proven and quite impressive.

I would be in as long as I was assured that this would be a no brainer replacement for 2008 OEM. jdk

Same here. I'm interested for my 06 V8. Would the proper application be true duals afterwards or tie into single collector? It would seem ineffective to have headers and then go single out the back. Thoughts?

im in for the test rig as well. i live in orange county but i am in the military and i am stationed in san diego. i live like 30 min from where doug thorley is located. they just have to be CA legal and i have to be able to pass smog.

i could give them my truck for a while because i could just ride my motorcycle to work.

Deifnitely interested. I have two stipulations though. It has to be able to pass visual inspection, and pass a dyno emissions test here in Colorado.
