Awesome writeup! Thanks.

Mine did came on blinking a few miles after it hit 130,000 miles.

Just an fyi, Scotchlok can cut the wire. I was doing it with limited lighting and thinking, I've used Scotchlok a number oif times... what could go wrong?!

After the install, it worked... closed the cover, then cleanup... started the car again... the light is blinking again! the black and white wire got cut. Ended up using additional wires.

Worked on my '07. Very easy. The wires are very small, and I would recommend using the 18-22 gauge scotchlok (red). The blue one didn't connect for my truck. 55 cents at Ace Hardware. Great mod. The tpms devil is dead! Thanks txt4r!

Mod works! So simple, I went the route of wiring up a switch. Works like a charm!

Thumbs up Easy Fix! Thanks TXT4R!

Wish I had found this thread sooner : ) Trimmed the yellow tape and black sheathing back an inch, used a blue Scotchlok, it easily slipped into place among the other wires, easiest fix ever! Its a little thing, but a BIG thing! Thx!

The light came on again today but the tpms is always BYPASSED for 8 months, I do not understand! may be that the bypass is disconnected with vibration and / or temperature variations with the Heaters, dont know

someone has an idea about this problem

regard'S

no need to install a connector, no cutting required, don't even need to cut back the jacket. Just take a piece of wire and create a jumper from the two wires. Leave the connector unplugged and tape the jumper on the end of the connector. I used a piece of wire from a Cat-5 cable with about 1/4" stripped from either end.

I used your idea and another members to simply remove the module altogether. I have a 08' so the wiring is slightly different, black/pink wire and black/maroon, but used a jumper wire at the end of the connector and taped it up. No more annoying warning light.
Many thanks for the numerous ideas.

So there is no bad result from just unplugging the connector and jumping the posts? Anyone with a long term review on this version?

So I jumped the black/white with the pink/black like mentioned. Light is off but sometimes it takes time. I just got my winter wheels on and wanted to get rid of the light this year.
