Hmm really!? Good to know. I still don't know if the seat belts would be black in them though. My thought is that they had a charcoal interior with gray or stone seats and grey belts. I think I've seen some like dark gray cloth interior, but the belts and trim was still either gray. Oh and some have that dark gray faux "stone" inlay on the trim pieces. Oh well, like I said, the gray belts really don't bug me. I imagine swapping them out would be somewhat of a PITA as well. Maybe not.

Thank you sir! I'm enjoying them. Brought that leather interior smell to ride as well. Helps to mask the drooly bulldog smell I feel they were worth the wait as well, I'm just an impatient SOB though. Thanks again!

Yeah, did it myself thanks to T4R.org. You can search the subject and it'll turn up plenty of threads with info. It's been a while, but I think I might have used this one.

Feel free to ask if you've got any questions.

Mine are tan, but I want black leather with the Toyota logo and TRD stitched into it in red. Seat heaters and coolers would be a must.

Btw.. the lady says thanks for the rbs, she can actually get in now. She's just a short 4' 11"

Sounds good. Can you get aftermarket seat coolers? They're a good deal more involved than heaters.

Well you guys are both certainly welcome! Dang, thought MY wifey was short (5'2"-5'3"ish)!!! It was fun watching her climb in without the RB's. She used to grab the "Oh Sh*t Handle" and vault herself up. She's one of those prissy, girly-girl types, so seeing her do goofy stuff like this is always funny. Now she's got the sliders to mantle up on though.

Looks fantastic man! Two questions:

1. How do these feel compared to OEM leather? I think ours feels really cheap.

2. What color(s) are those, including your stitching.

Thanks Husker!

I've always thought that Toyota/Lexus and Honda/Acura leather is super cheap feeling. I'm partial to leather like the King Ranch Fords and new Overland Grand Cherokees have. That being said, these covers feel WAY better than the factory leather upholstery. My brother has an Infiniti M and I'd put them on par with that car as far as my initial thoughts on quality and feel. Way nicer in my opinion.

Mine are black outer with black perforated leather insert and "ivory" stitching.

Hope that helps. LMK if you got anything else.

Thank you very much! I agree with you on the feeling of leather, the difference between my wife's XC90 and my 4R is night and day.

Love the look of the ivory contrast, nice choice all around. Your 4R looks really, really nice man!

As far as the Clazzios go, do you think you lost any of the depth of the bucket seats? Does it still have decent side-bostering and hug you as well as it did before? I'd hate to lose the "bucket" part of bucket seats with seat covers.

Thx.

As far as the depth goes, I'd say no, I didn't lose any. To me, 4Runner seats don't really "hug" you like a bucket on a sports car, so that part really feels the same. Over the massive amount of seat time that I've logged in this truck, I'd say that the foam side bolstering has lost some of it's rigidity over time. Especially outside of the left cheek from climbing in and out. I'd say, they helped bring back a little of what I've lost. I could equate it to laying on a memory foam mattress compared to say a cot as an exaggerated example. It feels like any nice leather interior.. supportive and supple, yet still manages to be plush.

Anyway, to answer your question, I don't feel that the seat has lost any of it's supportive characteristics. If anything, it feels better. I will say that black leather compared to my cloth seats on a 100 degree day, is a pretty drastic change when you first get in. Still worth it though.

Hope that answers your question.

Thank you SilverGs! Looking around, these regularly go for $450. Got them for $390 SHIPPED from Sparks Toyota (TRDSparks.com). At first they charged me sales tax since they're in the same state as I'm in, but I had them ship across the border to my in-laws', so $390 was to my door. Found out about Sparks through forum members. When you place your order online, just mention that price and that you are a member of T4R.org in the comments to receive the discount. I had some back and forth communication with the sales team there throughout the transaction and they were good to go.

I'm still ecstatic with these. If you order, you will not be disappointed. Hope that answers your question. LMK if you've got any more.
